Optimal Control Strategy of a Sewer Network

چکیده
This paper proposes a series of methods to increase the efficiency operating sewer network that serves medium-sized city with population 250,000 inhabitants. The five areas and consists seven tanks communicate one another treatment plant through pipes. controls are applied process by valves pumps. main objective this is determine optimal minimize two performance criteria: volume overflow, overflow quality index. was modeled in BSMSewer environment. optimization carried out conditions an influent computed relation number inhabitants area served, using genetic algorithms as method optimization. Five strategies were analyzed numerical simulation. analysis done comparison their results another, well case where all set at maximum values 100%. simulations showed third strategy produced best each criteria.
